Last updated: September 4, 2026
1. About FatoBase
FatoBase is an independent educational media and digital publishing service focused on the creation, management and publication of short-form documentary content about science, history, technology, archaeology, engineering, natural phenomena and documented curiosities.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing this website, using FatoBase-supported features or authorizing a supported platform integration, you agree to these Terms and the applicable third-party platform terms. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant FatoBase features or authorize the integration.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must have the legal capacity and authority required to use the relevant service or to authorize a third-party account. You may not connect or operate an account that you do not own or are not authorized to manage.
4. FatoBase publishing workflow
FatoBase may use software automation to assist with topic organization, research, script preparation, media production, publication preparation, publishing, publication-status tracking and performance monitoring. Content is published only through accounts and integrations for which the required authorization has been granted.
5. TikTok Content Posting API
When TikTok functionality is enabled, FatoBase uses the permissions granted by the authorized TikTok account owner to perform supported publishing operations through TikTok APIs, including the Content Posting API. FatoBase does not use TikTok permissions for unrelated purposes.
6. Third-party platforms
FatoBase may integrate with third-party services including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, hosting, storage and automation providers. Use of those services is also subject to their own terms, policies, technical limits, moderation systems and availability.
7. User responsibilities
Users and operators are responsible for ensuring they have the rights and permissions necessary for any content, account or data they authorize FatoBase to process. Users must comply with applicable laws and the rules of the destination platform.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use FatoBase or its integrations to:
- gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or credentials;
- circumvent platform controls, security mechanisms, moderation or rate limits;
- publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive or prohibited content;
- misrepresent ownership or authorization for a connected account;
- interfere with the security, integrity or availability of the service.
9. Intellectual property
FatoBase branding, website content and original productions are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party trademarks and platform names belong to their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants ownership of third-party intellectual property.
10. Content and editorial responsibility
FatoBase aims to produce educational material based on documented information and to distinguish established facts from hypotheses or uncertain interpretations where relevant. Educational content does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial or other regulated advice.
11. Availability and changes
Features may be modified, delayed, suspended or unavailable due to maintenance, security requirements, third-party API changes, moderation, rate limits, network failures or service interruptions. FatoBase may update workflows and integrations when reasonably necessary to maintain compatibility, security or service quality.
12. No guarantee of publication or reach
Submitting media to a third-party platform does not guarantee that the content will be published, remain available, receive any level of distribution, or avoid moderation. The destination platform may process, restrict, reject, remove or change visibility according to its own rules.
13. Authorization and revocation
A connected account owner may revoke authorization using the controls made available by the relevant third-party platform. After revocation, FatoBase will no longer use the revoked authorization for future API requests.
14. Privacy
Information processed by FatoBase is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Users should also review the privacy policies of any third-party platform they authorize.
15. Security
Users must protect their own account credentials and should never send passwords, access tokens or secret keys through ordinary support messages. FatoBase may take reasonable action to protect the service or suspend a feature when misuse or security risk is detected.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FatoBase is provided on an “as available” basis. While reasonable efforts are made to operate the service reliably, no guarantee is made that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free or continuously compatible with third-party services.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FatoBase is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by third-party outages, platform moderation decisions, API changes, unauthorized user actions or circumstances outside reasonable control.
18. Suspension or termination
Access to a FatoBase integration may be restricted or discontinued when necessary for security, legal compliance, technical compatibility, abuse prevention or compliance with third-party platform requirements.
19. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the service, integrations or legal requirements change. The current version will remain publicly available at this URL, and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
20. Governing law
These Terms are intended to operate in accordance with applicable law. Mandatory consumer, privacy and data-protection rights remain unaffected where they apply.
21. Contact
Questions about these Terms or the FatoBase service can be submitted through the Support & Contact page or by email at maanagernetwork@gmail.com.
